Congratulations on launching your business and getting your office space. Good Internet Connection

Between, Fiber, Coaxial and Satellite, Fiber is the best option to choose. Not only because of the speed it provides, but also the efficiency and stability fiber carries. This is also a great option to have if your phone system will be VoIP (more on that below).

Computers

Desktops are preferred over laptops as they have a longer shelf life.

Getting something refurbished does leave you open to break & fix costs down the line, when making a purchase of computers, it’s not a cost but an investment.

Look for what your business needs, not what’s the latest shiny thing in the market. As a matter of fact, you can end up spending money on features you will never need, but those features may be the selling point of the product. Your computers should have plenty of memory (8 Gigs minimum), good processor (we recommend i5) and good disk space (128/250 gig ssd recommended).

Backup and Recovery plan.

On Site Server or Cloud Server – have either one, but Hybrid is best. Not only is each business unique to these needs, but each location.

More set of features that are flexible and can be tailored to your business needs. Instead of having a generic set up that may or may not be used by your staff.

You can move your service with ease. Say you don’t like the phone service provider, you can easily switch and not be stuck with only one because their phones only work with their system.

VoIP phones/service is 40% -80% less expensive than traditional land line phones.

You have wider connectivity between devices (for example: phone + computer + mobile options available).

If you move your office, taking the phones with you is easy and no need to change your service or port your number(s).

Business Suite Software

We recommend Office 365 for its versatility, features and above all it’s built built for businesses.
